In addition, these virtual groups were beneficial to our groups since it was through them where we discussed urgent matters. With set deadlines, roles assigned to all members of the group, and regular updates through social media platforms, we made sure that all tasks were performed very well. Group discussions would then help us in deliberating on matters than had already been researched rather than conducting research. This helped us to do many things over a short time (Liu, & McLeod, 2014). .
In the group, there was diversity, where people had different ideas and points of view. Although this could be a point of misunderstanding at times, where some of us were not of similar opinions, it worked for the best of the group. By bringing up different ideas and perspectives to the members of the group, we made sure that all issues under discussion were looked from different angles (Lewis, 2011). This was good for the group since we could take on all tasks and did some good work on them. In the group, people had different areas where they were strong in, and those that they were weak. We gave people tasks to work on in areas where they are strong in, or at times coupled people in areas they are together strong in. By giving every person a task that they are good at made it easy for us to do tough tasks. These people would them explain to others how these tasks are done, something that facilitated learning for all of us. This made sure that we used the group as a learning platform, where every person was able to learn from other people. No one was disadvantaged since we all had some strong and weak points; something that ensured we all viewed it as a learning process. .
We used to have problems in the group. Although these varied by nature from time to time. For example, we could have misunderstandings in the group or other times individuals in the group failed us. With rules in the group, solving problems was very easy.
