Analyzing Zombies in the Movie World War Z

There is an open ending in which Lane declares that the "war has just begun.". .
Atypically, "World War Z" zombies (Zeeks) are shown to be very mobile. This is a modern mutation for zombies, who traditionally have been shown be slow stumbling shambolic monsters, this adds to the viewer's horror of being pursued. More recognizably they are dedicated only to spreading the virus to every single human. They have excellent hearing and smell and respond promptly to any stimulus of this nature and they also retain their sight. The zombies are mostly shown moving incredibly fast to attack, launching themselves bodily at any human and using hands, head and their entire bodies to smash any obstacle preventing them from reaching any uninfected human. Close up, the zombies appear emaciated or dehydrated, a cataract like film covers their bloodshot and wide open eyes, with wrinkled and aged skin, receding gums cause teeth to be appear prominent and fang like. Reminiscent of a set of chattering teeth, the zombies gnash and clack their teeth and stand relatively inert and passive when they are not stimulated. When attacking, the zombies screech is like birds of prey mixed with fingernails across a blackboard with a bit of confrontational cat thrown in. The zombies are shown to act in groups, like a horde or perhaps more accurately a torrent. They pour like water towards the uninfected, climbing over each other with every action they take serving to move them as quickly as "zombiely " possible towards their prey.
Psychologist Dr Raj Persaud asserts that "Zombie movies have also been subject to similar psychological analysis, and it's notable that ancient evolutionary fears of predation, contagion and the dead are all neatly combined by zombies. "4 The swarm of zombies tearing apart society is one of the visuals with the greatest impact in World War Z and indeed most zombie depictions. The irrational and senseless destruction by crowds of "un-people" can strike a chord in many for a variety of reasons.
