Vince wants to lower taxes by looking for savings through the county budget. These cost saving measures might involve shared services and consolidation of services in school districts. He is also looking into bringing more sustainable jobs with a living wage into Gloucester County. He wants to bring Green Energy to this county by installing solar panels, wind turbines built, biofuel, biomass, photovoltaics, nanotechnology labs, and geothermal. Vince and Larry finally want to increase the greater use of the local educational institutions and phasing out part time county workers getting full medical and pensions in Gloucester County. The educational institutions they are talking about are GCIT, Gloucester County College, and Rowan University. They want these institutions to play a vital role in the education and retraining of the students and adults when it comes to the production of green energy jobs. Vince doesn't want to see an average Joe that has no medical coverage to lose everything if someone in his family gets sick. .
With every campaign run, there is always some negativity coming from the challengers to get an extra edge in votes and change people's perspectives on them. The Democratic challengers in this race went a little too far on a serious topic regarding Cancer. This Cancer topic came about because the Democratic challengers brought up some untruthful facts about Vince and Larry not funding and supporting Cancer research. Vince and Larry both broke down emotionally because they both lost loved ones to Cancer. Larry lost his 9 year old son ten years ago to Brain Cancer and Vince lost his love and future wife, Tracey to leukemia in a six-week period.
