They may live in the other country permanently or for a short time to work in certain industries, such as agricultural, railroad or construction industries. Since the 1920s, large numbers of people have emigrated from Mexico to get higher paying jobs so that their families can have access to better food, shelter, healthcare and other necessary items and services.
However, human migrations cannot be solely determined by economic considerations. Terrorism proves it. It can be defined as the use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aim or the calculated use of violence or threat of violence against civilians in order to attain political, religious or ideological goals, completely disregarding the safety of non- combatants. The flaws and the lack of instability in the current system, creating fear and suffering, have ultimately resulted in the movement of people. Most recently, the U.S. war on Iraq has created well over two million refugees who have no home. Today, approximately 279, 548 refugees and an additional 69,228 asylum seekers reside in the U.S. .
Even Government oppression and brutality in countries like China, Iran, El Salvador, Cambodia, Somalia, and other countries that have tortured, detained, and killed its citizens have contributed to refugee flows. At present, the gravest problem that Pakistan is facing is terrorism. People have become numerical figures that it they are blown up in numbers every now and then. Terrorists have not spared any place. Bazaars, mosques, educational institutes, offices, hotels, cinemas even public places are not safe. Who would want to live in a place, whereby one's life is definitely at risk, a region whereby one may be alive in one moment, and assassinated in the other? Being innocent or guilty, who would accept such atrocity, knowing that we, humans, love our life the most and that migration can be a solution.
In line with this, religion is another cause of human migration.
