The things I carry are largely determined by necessity. I carry a Camelbak water bottle almost everyday due to the many benefits of water including a boosted metabolism, cleaner skin, and healthy bodily functions. A necessity that comes in a close second behind my water is my iPhone. My iPhone is not only entertaining but allows me access to the entire world via the tap of a finger. With my phone, I carry abilities ranging from communicating with my loved ones in case of an emergency to setting a reminder for a 4 o'clock dentist appointment. .
My credit card is an object I never leave home without, as it enables me to purchase the mandatory food, drink, gas, and so on. In addition to my card I always have a few bills lying around in case I am put in a situation where credit is not accepted. Loose change is abundant in my purse, as my coin pouch, also present in my purse, broke weeks ago. The change has remained ever since and will probably expand to three times its original size by the time I decide to finally fix my coin pouch. I additionally view car keys as an essential as they permit me to drive my brother to and from school, although I hate driving and could easily go without it.
Some things I carry reflect my personal indulgences. I find myself wanting a piece of gum quite frequently, so I always have a pack or two on hand. I don't like fruity gum due to its high levels of sugar and syrup, so I always select mint, and furthermore green mint as green is my favorite color. I carry both strawberry-scented hand sanitizer and strawberry-scented lip balm because the smell of strawberries soothes me and reminds me of my family's lake house with small strawberries patches lining the surrounding shrubbery. These items not only please my obsessiveness of having clean hands and moisturized lips, but additionally offer a sense of relaxation in nearly any given time or place. Months ago my friend gave me a gift card to Candies that remains entirely unused.
