Identification of Functional Areas of the Organization.
Functional areas of a Hubless motorbike wheel are presented into the spider diagram (Fig 1.) below and they are used in a business industry for presenting an overview of the process of manufacturing, the cost and the relation with customers. The functional areas are usually used for setting objectives into the business in order to increase the efficiency in any department. An increased efficiency leads to bigger sales which results into bigger profits. Even though each department has its specific tasks for achieving the goals set, they have to be connected into each other in order to run the business properly as it is shown below:.

Marketing.
Marketing is the management process responsible for identifying, anticipating and satisfying customer requirements profitably. The process includes ideas, the brand, the market research, the design and print process, the effectiveness of the process and looking into customer requirements.
Functional Administration .
The department that is specialized in collection, processing and storing information and to distribute it to decision makers who will sent it or not to production line. .
Finance and Accounting .
The finance department usually has three important positions, the management accountant, the credit controller and the financial accountant which functions are to monitories all the money which pass through company, to make payments, to pay all the salaries and the raw materials needed for production, to give a specific budget to all departments and to make cash flow diagrams which shows all the expenditures and profit obtained into one financial year. .
R & D.
In this department all the attention will focus on product development and the improvements which can make the product outshine comparing with the competition. Usually the manufacturer brings improving on safety, performance or aesthetics.
