Selling the Green Initiative

Advocates from every walk of life including the mass media, government, science, and the industrial sector are pushing the philosophy to "go green." Let me establish my position right now: I believe that taking precautions to preserve human life, wildlife, and natural resources should be fundamental in our decision making when it comes to manufacturing goods and executing our daily tasks. That simply derives back to conducting business with sound integrity and ethics. However, it is obvious that those in power and with voice are exploiting the movement and most of the reasoning behind the green initiative is flawed.
God says, "While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease"" (Genesis 8:22 KJV). Global warming is not man-made. .
Global warming is a cyclical phenomenon. Popular media, scientists, and government (along with many other entities) use propaganda to harvest fear and generate profit for their personal initiatives. External pressures and regulations placed on businesses to rally the green initiative" is a direct result of this. When a company adopts greener practices, it should be done as a means to cut costs and gain a better position in the market. This process should not be forced; it should be a result of market orientation and natural growth.
             Regulate Everything .
The auto industry is a great example of where the "green initiative is cultivating." Gas prices are constantly in the news and the latest auto advertisements flaunt more miles per gallon than ever before. Along with this movement come extensive regulations and new agencies setting up on every corner. Historically, the auto industry has been slow to meet the demands of green activists. Making some of the demanded changes would mean completely changing some of the manufacturing processes "exposing the company to more risk than shareholders can handle.
