7a. Exposition is the beginning of the story where you learn about the main character & conflict. On page 165, it shows the exposition. I chose that page as the exposition because it tells the readers the main character, Gawaine, and how he's afraid to fight.
7b. Rising action is the struggle with conflict in a story. On page 166, the story's rising action is the 6th through the 7th paragraphs. I chose those paragraphs as examples of rising action because it shows how Gawaine struggles with dragon training and how he begins to succeed. .
7c. Climax is the turning point in a story. On page 169 the 3rd- the 23rd paragraphs are the climax. I chose those as an example of the climax because this is when Gawaine meets his match and realizes that he is a true warrior and fighter.

I chose this as an example of the falling action because that is when Gawaine learns that the magic word is fake and learns that the Headmaster is lying, and Gawaine looses hope.
7e. Resolution is when the conflict is resolved and the story comes to a close. On page 171 the last paragraph is the resolution. I chose that paragraph as an example of the resolution because Gawaine finally dies and his glory days end and the school moves on.

I chose this quote as an example of a protagonist because Gawaine didn't have a fear of dragons and was tough like all leading characters should be and he was brave enough to fight them.
