Female Empowerment through Music

As well women are now joining the military and protecting their country and their families alongside men. In this day and age the woman is not a fragile princess as portrayed in every Disney movie you've ever seen. Ladies we can give men a run for their money.
But really, how is the Pink attitude affecting women in our society today? Most of us girls grew up watching the Disney princess movies when we were young. Basically this told us that we always needed to rely on a man for protection and anything else we might need. But not anymore. With this new independent feminist confidence in our society today boys better watch out. Women are now striking out into fields that for as long as anyone can remember belonged exclusively to men. Sports would be a good example such as hockey and football. I have heard of instances in Texas where high school girls have joined the football team, completely confident and secure on who they are. The attitude of I don't care and just deal with it is no longer just for the boys.
Then again is it right for a girl to have the Pink attitude. While it gives girls the confidence boost they sometimes desperately need this attitude can backfire. Girls will often use this attitude and Lone Ranger persona to cover or bottle up their feelings of hurt and heartbreak. For example when a girl finds out her boyfriend is cheating on her and dumps him then acts as if she doesn't care and she's completely fine, this is far too often nothing but an act. This brave front will eventually crack and her fragile being with crumble around her. The basic human need for companionship has been told to keep quiet in this girl so she can fool the world into believing that nothing can hurt her. A persons psyche can handle this only so long. Well the Pink attitude may be a wonderful fantasy and even useful on occasion, excessive use can damage a young girl beyond repair and bring nothing but an empty loneliness.
