Bully - A Short Story

Ginny started the car and slowly drove away.
When she arrived at her house, she realized her brother was already back from school and was playing video games in his room, so she stashed her backpack in her room and went into the kitchen to make them a snack before dinner. Their parents weren't home, as usual, as they decided to take a work trip to New York and would be gone for five days. Ginny made home cooked macaroni and cheese and brought some to her and her brother's room. She softly knocked on the door and out popped little ten year-old Tanner with his PlayStation 3 controller in his hand. .
"Thanks sis for the snack, want to see me play my game?" he curiously asked. "Sure no problem, I'll watch but only for a couple of minutes." Ginny said. "Great! Come in." Tanner grabbed her by the wrist and pointed at his lime green beanbag chair for her to sit in. He was playing Little Big Planet, a cute game with sacks for the characters. She watched him for fifteen minutes then told him that she needed to get started on her homework. .
Leaving the room, she went to her own room to start on Kat's homework and then do hers after. At midnight when Ginny finished everything, she went to her bathroom to shower and brush her teeth. Shortly after she went to bed and dreamt about Jamie playing .
football and blowing kisses at her in the audience. It was five in the morning when she woke up in a night sweat, figuring out that her dream probably turned haywire on her. She got off her bed, ate cereal, woke up her brother, and got ready for school. As soon as Tanner was ready they hopped into Ginny's Impala and drove to his school first, Mickey's Elementary. .
Ten minutes later Tanner was already out the car door and in school while Ginny was driving to Mountain High quickly, she didn't want to be late. In literally five minutes flat she arrived at school and unpacked her trunk full of her and Kat's homework.
