The group project on Wiki was very interesting and informative. Being able to do our own portion of the assignment and tie it all together with the other group member's info all neatly into one page was fascinating. Every group member had access to the page and could edit any part of it, this was extremely important to the group effort of the project. If someone wasn't contributing enough, the other members could pick up their slack and help finish the page before the deadline. In the end, the group project tied together a lot of important information in regards to different areas of technology.
The first group took on the subject of green technology." According to this group, green technology is a way to use technology ethically and without hurting the environment. Green technology is trying to take all the technology we use today and make it more efficient for people and healthier for the environment. This group did a very good job presenting the information in a way that allowed others to fully understand their topic. This group broke the topic down into sections and explained each one efficiently. The images used for this page were also very in tune with what was being discussed, not just images thrown on a page. I feel that this group did an excellent job!.
The second group did their wiki page on technology in medicine. I found that the information they presented was very in depth and covered pretty much every kind of technology used in medicine from stethoscopes to x ray machines. I feel that the group's organization was put together very well and the work was divided up evenly. This group included a lot of pictures, with their topic being technology in medicine, many pictures served to explain their topic better. In conclusion, this group did an excellent job presenting their information and after reading their page I feel like I know a lot more about the uses of technology in medicine.
