Aspects of Psychology in the Workplace

            To be in a career suitable for me I have to be the best person that I can possibly be. I can't let my emotions get the best of me for this career that I'm planning to pursue in. My major is undecided at the moment, but I would love to be a coach. .
             According to the My Plan Assessments, my emotional focus is extroverted, meaning, an extrovert leaves a social function feeling charged up and rejuvenated. I am a person who is very talkative and friendly. I love to be around a group of people that love to have a good time and that are very outgoing. My emotional focus being extroverted is they love to be around big groups of people that interact with others and that are very good leaders. That basically describes the job that I'm thinking about going to become. To be a leader such as a coach is a big responsibility. That profession is just you have to be on the ball, you have to be aware of certain things. This career you definitely have to work well with others because if you don't you won't win in games from being a coach. You have to be patient on some cases because you can't get impatient if the player doesn't know how to play or doesn't understand how to do certain things on the court. So you have to be very calm but at the same time slightly assertive. .
             The next personality type is sensors. Sensors tend to prefer concrete problems that can be readily solved through the application of facts and data. Sensors are more likely to be realistic than idealistic. They also learn well from an example, and are more observant. As a sensor they pay attention to every detail without getting out of hand. They remain focused, while carefully considering facts. From being a coach you have to pay attention to the little details on your players and if they are doing the fundamentals correctly. You also have to pay attention to the details on the other teams, like what they could be setting up or what plays they can be running.
