Nonbelievers go to the society to figure out what is right and what is wrong. We, as Christians, go to God and the bible to determine what is right and wrong. God's words are what we, as Christians, should live by. We should not live by hat the society tells us, for only God speaks the whole truth. Many nonbelievers think fame and money will lead to their happiness. But for Christians, following God's path and knowing that eternal life is waiting when one leaves this life is what brings happiness. Someday I hope to be in a business that is honest and doing things to glorify God. "Another way to design honest behavior into organizations is to ensure that an organization clearly communicates that honesty is expected (Mastilak 37). I hope the way I do things in my business is for glorifying Jesus Christ.
Being a part of a business is a great way to tell others about Jesus Christ. Nonbelievers will come into our business every day. As a Christian, I do not have to shove the bible into their face and tell them to become a Christian. I can do it in small ways. For examples, Cici's pizza plays the Christian radio throughout the restaurant. One could put church flyers up around the business. I believe these little things couch lead to be things, such as sharing the gospel to customers. I believe that if God is at the center of the business, He will use it for His purpose and glory.
As a Christian, I chose the University of Mobile to attend college. I believe I chose the right Christian college that will shape me to be a great Christian adult. The main lesson one learns in college is discipline. When I moved three hours away from my home town, my mom said, "You're on your own." It's true. I had a job this semester and accounting classes. I must be disciplined. My mom can't tell me to do my homework. My dad can't tell me when to be home or when I have to go to bed. They can't wake me up in the morning to make sure I am not late for my class.
