I believe that Capital Punishment should be banned completely. I know that this is a very touchy subject and as humans we believe that there should be revenge on someone who has taken the life of another person. I do not think that this is an ongoing situation but there are some people in the world that do not deserve to live but that is just my opinion. .
I do not believe in capital punishment because, in the U.S the states that are allowed to put prisoners to death uses Lethal Injections. The lethal injections that the state use cost more, than it does to keep the prisoner alive in jail. I also do not believe in capital punishment because sometimes in cases they find the person to be guilty on behalf of the evidence that they find from the prisoners previous years and they believe that if someone does it once then they are liable to do it again. Last but not least we have some prisoners that are in jail and they are innocent on behalf of their case. Some people are innocent by self-defense, long term mental problems, and life threatening situations. I am not saying that they should get a pat on the back and be let free, no, but no one deserves to loose there life. I feel as though maybe the longer they sit in prison and think about what they have done to someone then they can realize that in due time what they have done to someone will come to hunt them when they least expect it. According to the death Penalty information center since 1973, 121 people convicted of murder have been released from death row because they were declared innocent or the charges against them were dropped. If we sit back and think about the situation, if we kill one innocent person because we got our facts and evidence it not like we can give the person who life we took away back, therefore we have committed a crime our self so we should be put to death because we killed an innocent person. .
I believe that other should accept this as well because no matter how much we want revenge on someone for their wrongdoings, we have to let natural cause and higher power take that role.
