The aim of this assignment is to explore the impact of body exercise on the pulse rate in the human body. Undertaking this practical will enable me to gain better insight into how regular body exercise is vital to the pulse rate in an individual's body function. .

For best results, its recommended that whoever is going to undertake this practical exercise should not be pregnant, a smoker or an obese person. Furthermore, people with back injuries or other serious illness, anyone who has previously undergone an operation or on some prescribed medications, people with muscle injuries or anyone who is recovering from an illness.
Equipment: .
Suitable clothing such as track suites and sporting trainers, a bottle of water, a stop watch, a pen and paper.
Method: .
Using the case study of Lisa, this practical will be undertaken over an hour. Monitoring of the pulse rate starts at the beginning of this exercise and after every 5 minutes interval, until the end of the exercise. I will also check and record the pulse rate after 30 minutes and again after 60 minutes at the end of the exercise.

Description of the Person Undertaking the Pulse Experiment:.
Lisa is a 25 year old lady who does not smoke but drinks occasionally and ensures she eats a healthy balanced diet. She leads an active lifestyle and has no medical condition that would prevent her from doing this practical. She is single with no children; her BMI is 23 which is within the normal weight range.

The pulse rate is one of the vital signs that health professional check regularly on their patients as a prerequisite for any kind of treatment. The purpose of reading the pulse rate is to measure the heart rate. The pulse rate can alert the individual about any difficulties in our health, and if a person's pulse is too high or low, it can be an indication of some sort of medical issue.
