Issues that are very contrast between both candidates are the Economy, Health care, the federal debt, social security, education, role of the government and foreign policy. The vagueness of Romney's arguments is what makes me most suspicious that he doesn't really know what America needs to regain its strength but is able to make large accusations at the current Presidents failures and provide a pretty picture to convince Americans to vote for him, and it seems to be working for him. One of the downfalls or difficult situations that Obama is in is that he has been President for four years now, he is trying to get re-elected and he has to prove that the last four years he has been extremely beneficial and instrumental in getting America back to greatness at what he describes as an economic crisis that was passed on to him because, "two wars were paid on a credit card". .
The strength of Romney's is that he was able to open with humor in the first debate referring to Obama's anniversary, he states that he as 5 basic parts to his plan to restore the economy, firstly to make America energy independent, open more trade especially in the Latin America community, increase the quality of schools and education across America, balance the budget and finally to champion the small businesses . This is where is previous business history reflects well because it sounds like he know what is needed and sounds good that he wants to champion small businesses. However Obama is the able to make clear that small businesses for Romney can anything as large as Donald Trump and it sounds contradictory because his fortune is extremely large. It is an example of Romney's vagueness of what he considers something that he would enhance or grow to the economy. One of Obama's policies is that of a good quality education for all Americans, to allow children to go to colleges and keep the tuition's of the schools low.
