Plato, Socrates and Aristotle, comparisons

He believes that truth can be pulled out of individuals by philosophers, if the individual is seeking. He believes it can be reached through abstract reasoning with emotion and love. .
Aristotle uses his teleological method to see truth. The teleological method would tell us that we must look at nature to see the truth. As such, we must allow for natural changes to occur and bring us closer to what nature is intended to be. He essentially believes that the natural order that exists at any time contains truth, though it can be imperfect. He is also empirical in his thinking, as he believes that one can find the truth in tangible ways, not merely in thought. .
             3) Is truth accessible to everyone?.
Socrates was under the impression that any person could obtain the truth through dialectics. He often sought out common people, claiming that they had more sense than many of those considered very wise. Plato also wrote how Socrates was taught about truth and love from Diotima, a woman who was considered an "authority" on the subjects. This demonstrates that at least Plato, if not also Socrates, believes that women can also obtain truth. .
Plato said that there was some truth in every person. In the Republic, his idea of a just society would hold that only the philosopher kings possess the ultimate knowledge and truth, but that forms of truth could be reached by anyone. .
I think Aristotle believed that the highest form of truth, knowledge of virtue, could not be obtained by all. He stated that women were too emotional to be leaders, therefore, we can assume that he sees them as deficient in gaining truth. .
             4) To what degree is truth accessible?.
Socrates seemed to believe that virtue is accessible only through knowledge and thus it would be truth. He also thought that no human could be all knowing or wise, so he must not believe that one person could see all truth. I believe Plato would have seen things differently, he thought there was one truth .
