1. Looking to the Future - Accepting Gay Marriage
When I am grown I would like to wake up every morning for work and put on a pin stripe suit. Then I"ll go downstairs and have a nice hot breakfast made by my sanguine husband Then I will take my new Lincoln to my office where I will see my clients at their appointments. I will be a psychologist.
Psychology is the study of physical, cognitive, emotional, and social aspects of behavior. Two years of graduate school and work as an assistant under a doctoral psychologist will get a masters degree that is required to be a psychologist. Classes such as psychology, biological, physical, social sciences, statistics and mathematics are recommended while experience is required. A license is required for psychologists who offer patient care as well.
I want to be a psychologist because I like to help people and I feel if I can do something I like everyday I"ll have a good life. Like Sigmund Freud my family has limited finances, but he made comprehensive developments in the theory of personality and psychopathy and I feel I can make the society better using his developments. In this field of work the surroundings vary which would make each day interesting.
I feel I will be qualified to be a psychologist in the future because it suggest that one should have strong reading, writing, and critical thinking skills and I feel I do well in these categories. Biology, chemistry, foreign language, and computer applications are good to have in your background if you want to get into the psychology field of work, and I have an interest in all of these topics. Finally when you are a psychologist you deal with people everyday and I like being around people, and that's why I feel that I am qualified to be a psychologists.
