Visualization is a tool one can use to get people who can't understand written thoughts to understand. It is a powerful tool to show concepts and show people who are more visually in tune with ideas. We visualize possible or potential situations when we make plans The idea of visualizing ideas works in schools to the workplace to all aspects of life. Visualization tools have two major uses, interpretive and expressive. We can use visualization to help us better understand what's going on in our world, and therefore help us become better and more creative managers of ourselves. Through visualization, we can become more creative in our approach to our personal and social activities and relationships (Milton Dawes.98).
People can grasp concepts easier if we give them these ideas with pictures or graphs included because we understand pictures better than we do words. When we went school when we were younger the teacher taught more with pictures than without. It's an easier way to teach and make people understand what we are trying to explain. If the teacher didn't use these pictures with words kids wouldn't grasp the ideas as well as when the teachers do use pictures. It's the same when we go to a presentation its easier to grasp the ideas when we have visual aides then when we don't. When we visualize, we more easily see things from different points of view we become more creative.
Visualization has two tools that can be used. Interpretive tools help learners view and manipulate visuals, extracting meaning from the information being visualized. Interpretive illustrations help to clarify difficult-to-understand text and abstract concepts, making them more comprehensible (Levin, Anglin, & Carney, 1995). Expressive visualization helps people to visually convey their ideas in order to communicate a set of beliefs. Visualizations tools go beyond the usual paint and drawing programs they help users to visualize ideas in ways that make the ideas easier to understand.
