People in today society want everything to always be alright, but the truth is that is not everything will not always be that way. There is so much violence in the world today how can there be peace? When people see good images of war and violence then they are going to think that war is a good thing, but in all reality we know that war is horrifying and freighting. Death, anger, and hatred swirling around us, why would people think that war is a good thing? We are seeing now that our own children are fighting and even killing other children, because that is all these kid see on T.V., at home and even in their schools. And we all wonder why are children are all screwed up?.
In the early 1900's people thought that war made people heroes. So parents were pushing their young boys into the Army, Navy, or the Marines because they wanted them to become a hero and make their family look good. Then their boys were coming home insane because all the violence and gruesome things that they saw in the war. The parents were all confused because what their boys were telling them and what they were seeing in the pictures were two different things. By the 1970's people were begging each other not to go to the war because they were afraid that they would never come back. Now they see all the bloody bodies scattered about like little rag dolls. They see now the cold hard reality about the war. Although the Untied States of America has always came out victorious we have also loosed. .
People don't like to talk about all the men and women that had to die in order for us to win. People that are not in the war are all happy because we won, but all the soldiers that actually came back are like we really did not win because we loosed so many lives in the process that it really does not mean we won. How can people think, say, and believe that we won when we have killed so many?.
I hatred and violence is all our children see then they are going to think that is all life is about.
