Letter for College

I think it's safe to say that one of the greatest challenges in life is not the effort taken to reach a finish line, but rather, proving to others along the way that you"re capable of getting there. It seems fitting then, that at one of life's most critical junctures, it's what I've done along the way to prove myself to others that determines the direction of my career, and the title of my finish line. .
I have not yet accomplished my academic goals, as all along I've always viewed college as more of a stepping-stone to law school than a finish line. I am confident that my academic performance along the way will warrant admission to your university. For instance, since my freshman year, I've maintained at least a 3.0 grade point average as a Florida "Bright Futures" Scholar, earning a tuition scholarship from the state of Florida for all four years of my education. I've stayed consistent academically, as reflected by the fact that I've earned the same grades in college as I had earned in high school. Consistency breed's reliability, and I can be counted on to maintain the same academic performance as a law student. .
As my track record reflects, I've gotten the most out of my four years at Florida State University. I've never taken a semester lightly, earning two bachelor's degrees in four years. Moreover, History and Communications were two degrees I sought in effort to prepare me for the road ahead in law school. Particularly, while one major required the intense reading and analytical prowess necessary to be a successful law student, the other major provided useful forums for advancing my capabilities to communicate effectively one day in a courtroom. Both have paid their dividends in my brief employment career to date. .
Additionally, I have realized that one of the hidden benefits to earning a college degree is not just in the academic arena, but also in enduring the experiences and events outside of the classroom that inevitably mold the shape of one's true character.
