During these movies there was many emotional parts. The one that I thought was most emotional had to be when Schindler balled at the end of the movie. I mean he spent pretty much all his money to save many Jews. He was just not going to stop there he wanted more. Schindler just kept on crying and was acting outrageous. He kept saying how he did not save enough Jews and was actually giving up his own possessions to save them. Even though he killed all those Jews in the first place I still think he was a good man for helping them out in the end. He might have killed a lot but did save a lot.
The scene with the women going to the showers was very interesting. The reason I say that is because the women's heads were shaved and they had no clothes on. I thought for sure they were going to gas them and just leave them there to die. I thought it was weird that they took all the Jews possessions and gave them a shower and kept them alive. If I were in that position I would probably go ballistic and just like running around in circles thinking this was the time I was about to die. Which was pretty much what the women did do in the movie. .
I think that there were two themes to Schindler's list. The one that stuck out most to me is if you make a really big mistake and you think there is no way to change it than just try as hard as possible. I mean Schindler killed many people. Then when he realized he did a bad deed he wanted change it. He did not want people to think of him as the man that killed and killed many Jews. So he put all his heart into it and saved as much Jews as possible. And by him doing that then the family's he saved would live and have children then they would have children etc. So now Jews could still live throughout this world. The one other one is that it's not all about the money. There is much more to the world than money. I mean Schindler was all for money he would do anything for money.

My definition of a hero is someone who will sacrifice his/her well being to help someone who is in need of help. A hero is not only someone who saves mass amounts of people or discovers a cure for a life-threatening disease, a person can be a hero by doing something as simple as spending an afternoo...
Yes I think that Schindler's List is a reasonable historical resource because it showes us what the jews went through and what it was like for them to be moved into concentration and extermination camps and ghettos. The film also shows us that not all Germans hated the jews as we see when Schindler makes his list and saves the jews that work for him. ... Schindler did make a list and the Schindler jews did survive the holocaust. ...
