Sometimes we all do not like to face the fact that we have certain strengths and weaknesses, but they make us who we really are. It is important to be aware of not only our strengths, but also our weaknesses. I believe I am fully aware of my weakness that is why it was not difficult to write about them. I am the biggest procrastinator in the whole wide world, and anyone who knows me can agree with me on that. I tend to lose focus real easily; I feel if it is not interesting I might as well not even pay attention. Therefore, I can only use my weaknesses to help me change and focus on a particular thing to help me grow. On the other hand, my strengths, which include being a patient person, technical and computer skilled, make up for my over all weaknesses.
I am convinced that one of my biggest strengths is being patient. At work I am always recognized as the patient worker who can help people with any of their problems. I think that is why so many of my friends come to me and tell me their personal problems. Even though sometimes its hard, I still try to listen to everyone's problems. I believe this quality has helped my wife and I in our relationship. I tend to help my wife with her frustrations from work, when she gets home annoyed and frustrated I"m always there to hear her problems. I"m glad one of us is patient. Being patient has helped not only my family, but also my co-workers.
Another one of my strengths is my technical and computer skills. Ever since I was a kid I remember setting up the VCR and TV for my parents. I have always enjoyed working with old and new technology and that is why this is my biggest strength. I also helped them with the first dinosaur computer they ever had, I would always try to fix the problems that came along. I have put my knowledge to work in the Navy by becoming a data base manager working with Unix Operating systems. Today people at work come to me to configure their computers or ask me to format any of their Word documents.
