Out of most people around their parents are the one's they admire, I mean sure, they gave birth to you and raised you for a good amount of years, but there has to be someone else. Someone that has entered your life in one way and changed it completely. Someone who made you look at things differently. Someone who gave you a totally new perspective on life. To me admiration is the deepest respect. There aren't allot of people in this world who have my deepest respect. Even though I know that my parents are good people and I do respect them, I cant honestly say that I hold the deepest respect for them. People who say that they admire a movie star or some writer are only lying to themselves. They don't even know the person or their real personalities, so how could they admire a person they don't even know? They don't really know the person or their motives for doing what they do. How a person could admire someone they haven't even met is beyond me. My admiration would have to be for someone I've met in person. I would have to know their personalities and how or what I admire them for.
My admiration goes out to a very special man. He is old but young at heart. You can barely notice the gray in his hair when you look at him because all you see is the kindness in his eyes. You see a man that had the strength to raise one heathen, my mom. Sure, you say to yourself that's nothing one child, but think of one girl and her little problems. For dealing with that he deserves a metal! He has a down to earth kind of personality and works hard to achieve what he wants. Often he doesn't understand our new spoiled ways, but he just laughs if off, and continues to do things his own way. He always has a way to make a food you hate and despise into your favorite dish. He always knows when to state his opinion and when to keep his mouth shut. No matter how confusing you make something, or how weird some things sounds.
