When I was little I wanted to be a princess, then I wanted to be an FBI officer, when I got .
older still I decided on being a lawyer and then went through a child and youth worker phase.
As you can see, I certainly change my mind a lot. Currently I am thinking about being a .
counsellor, social worker or journalist.
I plan on going to college or university but am currently not sure whether I will actually go to .
university or not. I've been looking into it and am actually waiting on a guidance appointment .
with the school counsellor but they tend to keep you waiting, especially at the beginning of the .
school year.
I was going to go to Mohawk College in Hamilton (this was during my child and youth worker .
phase) but now that I've changed my mind on my profession again I"m not sure if they offer the .
courses I am now thinking of taking. Besides that, my father wants me to work in his tattoo shop .
in Detroit (which I think is wonderful since I will definitely be needing the money) so I think I .
should look into colleges and universities in that area, Hamilton is too far away.
I've been trying to take courses in the Humanities area; I think it would really help with .
the counselling and social work and I usually do quite well in English so I"m not worried about .
that. Last year in academic English I started with a 90 and finished with an 88. I missed the exam .
however since I was sick, which is just my bad luck (that's not sarcasm, I really was upset that I .
missed it) fortunately my teacher understood that it wasn't my fault and averaged my mark .
considering my previous ones. .
The reason I might want to be a counsellor or social worker is that I like to meet new people and .
like to help people and that's a big part of those jobs.
I"m also a good listener, get along well with most people and am very understanding.
The reasons I was thinking about journalism are simply that I love literature, love to write and .
