Why is it important to have heroes and role models in my life?.
It's important to learn to love yourself. Don't take life too seriously. But seriously, in this life, we have to solve our problems. We cannot solve these problems by ourselves sometimes. We need the help of others or we have to pattern others" way in working out these problems. .
We have our childhood heroes like Batman, Superman and other man. But as we grow old, we change these idols into something deeper, into a new look; something like more meaningful. We look for new role models or simply heroes.
I remember, my childhood hero was Sailor Moon, a typical Japanese teenager that has powers which can transform her into a magical warrior that fights evildoers. I used to watch her show every Saturday at 6:30 in the afternoon. But I found later that even though the story was adventurous and of different episodes, I realized that it was all fake; that no one in this world can be a .
real Sailor Moon. Yes we have indeed some troublemakers in real life but we can't fight them by saying "sa ngalan ng buwan parurusahan kita!" and then wacha! They"re gone, dead or anything.
And now that I"m a young adult, I have my own heroes - real heroes and role models. I believe and praise the work of others. Like music. Music is the language of the soul. I consider music artists as my heroes. Everytime I feel depressed, happy, inspired etc., I usually listen to their music. I regard any type of music but not the classic ones coz it make sick. I love music and the ones who sang them.
Teachers - good, bad, terror, happy, weird, boring and other species/type. I admire them for teaching us the lessons that we have to learn. Sometimes we don't care to what they"re explaining in front of the class. Sometimes we are more interested in the subject than they do. Sometimes it's equal. Sometimes we obey and sometimes we don't listen. When I was in elementary, my spelling sucks.
