The same results are reached with the autopsy of Harmonica man. Austen then goes to investigate the death of a thrift shop dealer. There Austen finds a list of sales and purchases. Austen figures out that Kate had purchased a small box from her. Austen retrieves the box and opens it. A wooden cobra comes out that releases a dust type particle. Austen then realizes that the box is the carrier of the mystery illness. Austen calls in the F.B.I and other federal organizations because of the potential for a massive outbreak in such a large city like New York. The operation is dubbed Cobra because that was the government also brings in Littleberry who was kicked out of the U.N. for his surprise inspection. The joint operation sets up a large field hospital in a place called Governors Island. The island is isolated form the large city, and is set up for extensive research on the cobra virus. Along the way you are introduced to Archimedes. Archimedes is a nature lover who feels that a massive virus is needed to delete a large part of the human so that things in nature would have more room. Archimedes took a strand of harmless butterfly virus and engineered it with the common cold and other viruses so that the disease would transfer from humans very easily. More cases of Cobra occur and they are brought to the field hospital for treatment and research. The federal agents learned of a genetic company nearby called Bio-Vek. Upon investigating they learned that the building contained a form of the Cobra virus. The Feds then go in and sterilize all forms of the Cobra Virus. Upon the investigation they find out Archimedes true identity. His name is Thomas Cope. He is working for a multi national company called BioArk, who would be able to get strains from Iraq where Littleberry previously was. He stole the virus for his own use. By this time Cobra had reached D.C. Cope had developed a large bomb of Cobra and was ready to use it.
