James Bond

Goldfinger is probally the most famous and definative of all Bond films, packing in everything you could want, from the superbly intimidating Oddjob to the Bond car, the Aston Martin DB7. .
Review of Goldfinger by Scott Goodfellow .
The basic plot of Goldfinger is that Bond must find out why someone is hoarding a large portion of the world's gold supply. It isn't long before he discovers Auric Goldfinger, a British tycoon who is absolutely obsessed with gold is involved. His cold, harsh and devious character makes him a very tough adversary for Bond and the perfect hateable villain for the audience. Connery, as usual, is on top form. Another real star of the show is the unforgettable Pussy Galore, played flawlessly by Honor Blackman. Central to Goldfinger's plans for domination of the gold market, Pussy is an attractive and strong-willed woman who is not as shallow as previous (and some of the later) Bond girls. And then there's Oddjob, the mute Korean minion to Goldfinger with his steel-rimmed bowler. Definately one of the most memorable henchmen, but then again one of the key features of Goldfinger is that has so many memorable features. Shirley Basseys timeless theme, the classic Aston Martin DB5, a menacing and cunning villain complete with loyal henchman, that famous scene with the laser and of course that historic line:.
Bond: "You expect me to talk?" .
Goldfinger: "No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!".
The plot is more interesting and captivating than most. Once this is coupled with the amazing chases, stunts and fights, you can be certain that you have a winning combination. .
Goldfinger is a classic, having all of the components of a perfect film placed, well, perfectly!.
After over five years of waiting for the next Bond film, fans around the world rejoiced at the news of the release of Bond 17; GoldenEye on November 17th, 1995. Having grossed around $350 million worldwide, Brosnan's first outing as Bond has some of the most daring action sequences ever, such as driving a tank through St.
