After these tragic events, our country came together as one people to support one another and show the rest of the world that we are not afraid. We showed our attackers that we will not let ourselves be dictated to by a group who will use terror as a means of protest and murder to bring about change. No specific culture was affected; each and every person living in this country, and many from other countries, felt the same emotions, the same anger, sadness, and fear. This helped us to see that we are all the same on the inside. The people of this country no longer belong to the separate categories of "Asian," "African," or "Indian."
