             A common problem among teens that cannot get contraceptives is teen pregnancy. Without proper contraceptives, it is easier for a teen to become pregnant due to the fact that they did not use protection. According to Kirstin Wiltout, "Jones and Phillber (1983) found that of 119 adolescent females who had been sexually active for at least one year without becoming pregnant, only thirty-six percent were consistent contraceptive users." (14) This shows that the other sixty-four percent did not use a contraceptive and were .
