They lived together, ate together and worked together. Military formalities in the AAF were notoriously relaxed and almost non-existent. While the pilot was officially in command, a wise pilot knew the value of listening to his crew. This bomber crew example mentioned illustrates essential points about work teams: work teams need a Mission; work teams need personal bonding; work teams need time; work teams need training. These are just two examples of the many organizations that have in the past, as well as presently, implemented the concept of work teams to accomplish various types of missions or tasks.              5. Effective management of team processes.
             6. How to effectively deal with individual or team conflict. .
             1. Definition of a work team - A team is a group of two or more people who interact regularly and coordinate their work to accomplish a common objective (Plunkett, Attner and Allen Management Meeting and exceeding customer expectations copyright 2002). If such a team is used in an organizational work environment then we specifically label it a work team. A work team must possess several characteristics, before it can be considered a true organizational work team. .
              First, it must have a least two individuals to be considered a team. The actual size of the team will vary with the type of assignment, and needs of the organization.
              Second, the members must have some type of interaction or socialization so that their efforts of the task can be coordinated. Coordination and interaction is key to the success of the team. Regular interaction without coordinating the work effort is not teamwork.
