All God

Sometimes you could be in just shock or disgusted by incidents that happens in our everyday lives. In general, I felt that the Bosket felt that he must fight and be violent to earn respect and maintain his reputation. We face that everyday. People are fighting and are in gangs to earn respect. How the book outlined the historical events, and the perspective of violence, I don't think it has changed. I think as of today, its the same and it probably got worse. As violence is growing everyday, I think it will influence in the near future. .
I don't think that the youngest Boskett should be put to death for the crime of murder, but I think he should be punished of what he did. As being one of the youngest, you would have role models to look up to. I think no matter what crime he did, he didn't mean to but just learned from the wrong person. I believe when you're that young, you could change and I believe that they deserve another chance. James Boskett, Pud's son wanted to be just like his father, he wanted to be a bad man. James took a carrying knife all the time and sharpened whenever he needed to. While his habits were not directly criminal, it shows Pud violence that was learned successfully by the son from the father. Another example is Willie; he idolized his father, in which he is in jail for killing two men. It seemed that Willie believed violence was a way to get closer to his father, to get in prison like him. Many times in the passages, it describes that Butch and Willie are learning violent behavior from their guardians. As the youngest would just follow their role model, they would also have societal influences. You could learn things that are outside of your house; you might see it from someone that you don't even know practicing their sense of violence to someone else. As in the passage there were many times, when they would learn their violent behavior in the streets.
