INTERVIEW WITH CATE.
With her up and coming new film, The Shipping News, I was delighted that Cate had accepted to do an interview with me, amongst her busy schedule. Invited to her modest home on the beach in Brighton, I was warmly welcomed by Cate who was dressed in jeans and a mohair jumper.
As we sat on the sun-drenched balcony admiring the view, I enjoyed fresh fruit and espresso coffee. Cate seemed very at ease, although she told me that "these things" (interviews) always make her nervous.
"So Cate, how do you choose which films you want to star in? Surely you can't appear in all the roles that get offered to you.
