             There are many reasons why I've chosen this course. Mainly because my friends have told me how great and how much fun they had while taking it. Although I was unsure of why else I took this course at first, the more I thought about it the more it became clear that this course is not for everyone. I thought about switching courses for a second but came to realize that this course could benefit me greatly. .
             There are two types of leaders; Born leaders and made leaders. There are many qualities that make up a leader. A leader will strive for perfection when the job seems impossible. He is fair and encouraging as well as polite and patient (the list goes on). Although I posses some qualities of a leader and in some ways am a leader , there are many qualities that I do not have and with the help of this course wish to obtain and become a great leader.
             This course requires volunteer work , which allows me to not only help myself but help the community as well. The requirement of volunteer work will allow me to try new things and find out what type of work is for me. This requirement of the course will not only fill up my timetable but will also give me a chance to see what fire fighting is really like. This will benefit me in the work force as volunteer work looks great on a resume.
             This course also has freedom and perks. Leadership will allow me to obtain marks by working with my mind and hands as oppose to working with just my mind. I also have the freedom to choose where I wish to volunteer my hours and how long I wish to volunteer for. I believe this course will also give you a high that only a volunteer can feel. The high of helping your community as well as helping those who need help.
             In conclusion I believe I made a good choice by choosing this course. I hope this course makes me a better leader as well as a better person. It has many perks and will help me a great deal in life.
