Race and genre are two of the most important and determinant aspects in someone's life. Even though I don't agree and accept this fact, that is what it is, a fact. Society has put in the job of naming people based in the color of their skin, the culture they belong to, religious believes and thoughts, or their genre. Each one of these aspects are, in some cases and to some people, what determines what someone is capable or not to do in society's development.
Race, defined as the color of the skin of a person, has been for ages and centuries the most determinant aspect for someone. Centuries before, a man born white was very different to a man born black. The white boy was grown up differently than the black boy. The white always had opportunities to study, to go where ever he wanted, to work and be paid for it, to buy a house and the most important of all: to express himself. Instead the black boy was not able to study, could not learn to read and write, could not move around the town or city by the places he wanted, had the obligation to work but was not paid for it and he never could express his thoughts. .
People born black were not considered as persons but were considered animals and were treated as them. Whites were always oppressing blacks, and since they didn't even had rights, whites could walk over them and nothing wrong happened. Blacks were under estimated and were treated as if they were things and objects which whites could negotiate with and take advantage over them whenever and however they wanted. They were considered as a property that could be sold, kicked, mistreated and they were not supposed to feel anything they could not do anything to fight against this. .
Genre, defines the sex of a person, but determines many other things. Men have always oppressed women underestimating their capabilities in the development of something. Just until 1953 they were able to express themselves by the mean of the vote.
