John Doe is sitting in his chair reading his newspaper with his hot cup of tea, nothing really out of the ordinary then he hears something. A cool, chilling breeze runs though his spine. He stands up with fright, then he hears something in the other room, he enters and nothing is there except an old newspaper with and article saying "Grumpy Old Man Commits Suicide". John then hears a whisper that gets louder and louder. He runs to his fireplace to warm up and the fire goes out, then he sees a light coming from the other room. Wait just a second here, did this even really happen? Is there proof at all that this could actually happen? Many stories like these have evidence of such occurrences with proof. Other people just like this have had these weird experiences that just cannot be explained. People have actual haunted houses that have ghosts in them. Ghost stories are heard all the time. "There was a teenaged boy who was looking for a date for the high school prom. He met a girl who he immediately fell for, and asked her to be his date. The girl happily agreed. The night of their date, they decided to take a drive through Branch Brook Park on their way to the prom. It was a raining heavily, and visibility was bad. The car suddenly began to skid out of control and crashed head-on into a tree. The boy was fine, escaping with only some minor scratches. The girl, however, was dead. Today the tree that they crashed into is painted white in the form of a person. Witnesses have recalled seeing a lady in white next to the tree, which beckons them toward her on rainy nights.
