Cosmetology! I remember when I was little, and I went around and put make-up all over the walls and ruined all of my mom's make-up. Well now I can do it with skill, with only four to five years of school. I know this would be a very good job for me because I am such a people person and I love to do things of that sort to all of my friends. For example I did my own hair for prom last year, and I got many compliments on it. I would say that I could probably do anything that that person would want done to their hair, and with a little practice I would do even better. .
It doesn't take much; Cosmetologists just need licensing and certification. All I would really need to know is how to be a little creative and very sociable. I only have to be sixteen years old, and I have to pass a written, and oral exam and I have to do practical demonstrations of that particular skill. If I would want to get into a better college or a school that professions then according to Natasha Tomas "You should go to the Career Center, because you could learn a lot about what you want to do and you could do hands on activities and you would know more by the time you get into college" (Tomas).
In cosmetology they would need to have good communication skills, they would have to be able to listen to others and ask them questions, and just make up day-to-day conversations with them to keep them interested in coming back. They would also need to follow guidelines to arrange objects or actions in a certain order. They would also have to manage the time of ones self and others and be aware of others" reactions and understand the possible causes. They should know how to determine the tools and equipment need to do a job the right way, the first time. And they need to imagine how something will look if it is moved around or its parts are rearranged. They would also really need to know what the customer and personal service is: the knowledge of providing special services to customers based on their needs (Cosmetology).
