Experience Of man with advancement in Technology.
"Many facts concur to show that we must look far deeper for our salvation than to steam, photographs, balloons or astronomy. These tools have some questionable properties. They are regents. Machinery is aggressive. The weaver becomes a web, the machinist a machine." -Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Throughout the course of history, men and women have taken steps to make life easier. Going back to the allegorical curse placed on man in the Genesis scriptures, that he should "work by the sweat of his brow"; men have tried desperately, to some avail to annul that curse. .
Do you think modern technology has made life easier and safer? Or do you think that modern technology has made life more difficult and more dangerous? Technology today has made life easier and quicker but dangerous. As we look at technologies, questions are raised. By the way what are technologies? Modern technology is machinery that makes life easier.
The task of technology is to create a better, and easier living for us and for the world,.
Its intentions are only positive, unless looked on in the subject matter of destruction, warfare or terrorism. Without technology life would be more difficult than it already is, knowledge would be limited and more difficult to achieve.
The world is full technology; almost everything you see is the result of technology. Our houses, cars, buildings, streets, lights, even simple things like spoons, pencils, and nail clippers are all examples of technology. We use it everyday without even think about how it affects us. We don't think about how much a part of our society it has become, or what life would be like without it. We don't question our technology once we become accustomed to it but maybe we should. We should think about what technology has brought us, and what it enables us to do. Is there anything dangerous about our dependence on technology? Of course there is.
