             7. Governor of Massachusetts more interested in the dignity and preservation stature of the court.
             8. Makes Proctor sign a confession to preserve the reputation of the court.
             Reverend Samuel Parris.
             9. A weak, paranoid, and suspicious demagogue who instigates the witchcraft trails when he finds his daughter and niece dancing in the woods.
             10. Paranoid that people are trying to conspire against him and is money hungry fool.
             Reverend John Hale.
             11. Comes to Parris on Parris request to investigate any supernatural causes for daughter illness.
