Palestinian history

The Arabs helped the Palestinians to try not to sell their land because of poverty. The Arabs tried also to stop the immigration to Palestine by the Jews. .
Because of this opposition by the Arabs, the entire Zionist group couldn't achieve their targets so they needed the help of the British forces who were in Palestine during the period in which Britain occupied Palestine. The British forces helped the Zionists to stand against the Arab opposition. .
One further point: about the people who are Jewish, the Arabs are against the Zionists and not the Jews so they are not anti-Semitic. The Jews acted worse than any other group might have acted in their situation. .
The Zionists who were a minority of the Jewish people until after WWII had an understandable desire to establish a place where Jews could be masters of their own fate, given the history of Jewish oppression in the past in Europe. Especially as the danger to European Jews was clear in the late 1930's and after, the actions of the Zionists were aiming to have a home in Palestine.
But so were the actions of the Arabs. The land without people for a people without land was the words that the Zionists called for Palestine but this was false as that land was already home to 700,000 Palestinians in 1919. This is the root of the problem, it is the fact that the Zionists and then Israel ignore always the right for the Palestinians to live in Peace in Palestine and have their freedom.
The Balfour Declaration, made in November 1917 by the British Government.was made by a European power; about a non-European territory because Palestine was an Arab country, the declaration ignored both the presence and wishes of the people majority in that territory who were the Palestinians in 1917. (Israel/Palestine War).
There was a lie made by the French and the British when they promised the Arabs to take the land of the Ottomans after the war as a reward for supporting the Allies but after the Balfour declaration they gave Palestine to the Zionists.
