Final Exit was written by Derek Humphry, and published by Delta in November of 2002. This book was written for the ill who were dying and found no other way out but to get the death over with. I think I would suggest this book to someone who is in the very position of suicide. If there is someone who wants to commit suicide then I would recommend this book to them it helps explain a lot and helps understand the reasoning for everything there is to wonder about. The material covered in this book is about how to guide your way back to a normal life if you are considering suicide or other options. This is a topic that has much significance. When someone is considering suicide there is a need for a doctor familiar with the practice of suicide patients. They are needed greatly to help guide the way. These doctors have special ways in helping the ones in need. When I read about how easy people could want to die just because of an illness that they have or for any other reason(s) I didn't know what to think. I always knew there were people that committed suicide, but I didn't know how terrifying and deep into the thought the people were about suicide. I could never imagine how horrifying it would be to make a decision like that. Even though some people don't want to get help I would be forever grateful if I were to have someone care enough to help me out when I would need them most by getting me help. This book is greatly devised by topics. .
The only weakness of this book is how much it talks about some stuff over and over again. I liked the way that this book taught me how to appreciate life and understand things in a new perspective. I don't normally think highly of myself, and this book made me realize how much of a blessing life really is. Not to just take advantage of life, enjoy it. This book is for young adults who are considering ending their lives over a small illness or other things.
