Kiss Me Kate was a movie that was based upon the Shakespearean play of The Taming of The Shrew. Kiss Me Kate is a musical that has the same characters playing the roles as Taming of the Shrew does it is just a newer version and has people dancing around. The younger sister Bianca has to wait until Katerina falls in love in order for Bianca to be able to go out. Katerina doesn't like to be around boys, so she likes to do her own thing and dance around all over the place. A new version was made in order to come up with Kiss Me Kate, but now another one was made for the new ages.
10 Things I Hate About You is based upon Taming of The Shrew also just with shorter names and everything was put into today's style of life. Kat is a girl who doesn't care what guys think about her but her younger sister Bianca on the other hand wants to be around the guys all of the time. Cameron and his buddy Eckman try to find anybody they can to take out Kat since Cameron isn't allowed to take Bianca out until her older sister goes on a date also. Biance once able to date after her sister finally does gets caught up on which guy to date and she has all kinds of problems while Kat end up falling in love with Pat.
