Some African Americans maybe offended by such a stereotype, since they are not the only ethnic group who has a national income below the national average. This type of campaign against one ethnic group singles them out and could be viewed as a form of prejudice, which ultimately could cause the Democratic Party to loose a lot of votes.
Other problems such as the NAACP protesting and demanding apologizes, as well as the NAACP filing lawsuits against the Democratic Party could raise unwanted situations. Since African Americans are not the only ones who have incomes below national averages, they may not accept this sort of criticism. Without taking into consideration, the Hispanic, Oriental, Asian, and other various ethnicities, this syllogism is not justifiable.
