Divorce: Why it Happens and Ways to Prevent it.
Some think that in order for a marriage to stay alive it is necessary for the couple to achieve a balance of separateness and closeness. I feel that this can be achieved but it does take a great deal of effort and patience to keep a relationship alive. Couples can stay together if they realize what their partner needs and think up a way to satisfy those needs for independence and physical and emotional support.
Some companions feel that they need to be with their partner every second of every hour of the day. Eventually the other partner will begin to feel caged in and want out. Getting in to a marriage does not mean you are forever binding yourself with one another, it means that you want to love and spend the rest of your life together with someone. Although the "spend the rest of your life together" can be deceiving, I think that it really means that you can only love that person having an affair violates that agreement. To avoid having your partner feel caged in attempt to understand them at a different level and realize they are their own person.
Having an affair is more often than not disastrous for marriages. First off, it tells your partner that they don't satisfy you physically. Also, it breaks the bond of love that is held between couples. Some couples can work through this and realize that they really do truly love each other. In some cases, affairs have sparked a new life for married couple. However, I do not recommend cheating on someone in an attempt to rekindle a lost love life. .
A family crisis, such a relative passing away, can put a tremendous strain on marriages that can sometimes push them to the breaking point. Everyone deals with a family crisis in their own way. To help your partner get through their crisis you need to give them their space and understand what they are going through. Do not expect them to be doing their usual routine after a loved one has passed away.
