Within a person's life there are a variety of responsibilities and objects (rocks) they must maintain. These "rocks" can range from the most important things in your life or to a mere obligation you complete every day. In my life I have many big, medium, and small "rocks" to accomplish.
College, family, and friends are all the most important things in my life (also known as "big rocks.") College is very important to me because it is a self-task that I have set forth for my self and to strive to continue my education. My family and friends are the things that get me through each day and because of them they shape me into the person I am.
My medium rocks in my life are the more personal items, which include my car, pets, and items such like that. All of which I could possibly live without in my life, but each had a special impact and represents another part of who I am. My car, phone, boats are all luxurious but can be easily replaced, yet they hold a strong part in my everyday life. My pets however, are extremely special to me because they provide another source of emotion and love in my life.
Everyday chores such as homework, cleaning, waking up on time, and laundry are all things I must do yet overlook at how important they are in my life. I naturally do them as a force of habit. Small rocks are things I don't worry about if I don't accomplish because there are more important things for me to worry about in my life.
In life, a person has many things to accomplish to reach self-actualization. When a person is truly happy, they have accomplished all their "big rocks" in their life and also learned how to balance all of there other rocks to go along. Someday I would like to be able to accomplish all of my "rocks" and hopefully strive to reach new ones while I am at it.
