Heterogeneous people are a group of audience that share different kinds of interests. The Guthrie Theatre is a great example of this cause many different types and genders come to this theatre to indulge in the play. Homogeneous people are a group in which they share the same interest. The Pnumbra Theatre is an all African American theatre. If the play doesn't match the audience liking then it many not receive great reviews from people and also may not connect with the audience on a personal level.
2. The play that I choose was CATS. The perception that I would bring with me to the play would be that they are all going to be dressed up in costumes and a lot of singing and dancing. This is a very entertaining play at times, but after awhile the whole singing and dancing thing can get kind of annoying. Its pretty much about all these cats and they are in a alley and they sing and dance about there lives. It is a more recent play and I have watched some of the play and it was good, but I got kind of bored with it, and I think I would rather go to a non musical.
6. In the play The Laramie Project I would be cast as one the play members that come from New York to interview the people from Laramie. I would try to put myself in their shoes and try to figure out what really happened to Matthew Shepard that day. Even thought the people from Laramie think of these people as outcasts they learn to like them and become great friends in the end. I would use the Stanislavski System in the way that I would put my self in the shoes of the Laramie people and try to become one of the town members and just the thought of having your own people perform a hate crime on there own towns people. For example when they first get into town they stop at a dinner and the waitress ask them and if they lived in Laramie or just passing through because they didn't look familiar. They respond in saying that they are just passing through because they didn't want to tell them that they were their to interview people.
