Major drivers of globalization for Mexico and NAFTA will be explained. Also, the role of Mexico within NAFTA will be examined. An analysis known as the SWOTT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats, and Trends) will be used to cover the common risks that can arise for OWS when deciding to globalize or not. .
             Strategy Implementation will be a part of this plan, it will cover how OWS will deal with the following issues: Human Resources Management (HRM), Legal and ethical issues, Supply chain management, Information technology, Research and Development (R&D), and Cultural awareness. .
             The Finance and Marketing portion of this plan will address the impact of country risk to business operations, employee productivity impact, business functions managed different compared to home country, and examples to illustrate the analysis. Upon completion, it will be apparent that Mexico is the best choice for globalization in the textile and tennis shoe industry.
             Introduction to Regional and Country Analysis.
             Governments all across the globe today recognize that protectionism is not a choice and no longer works. Although few countries practice free trade, most economists agree that free trade is a desirable policy. Integration provides policy makers with a strategy to secure access to a wider market and reinforce growth in order to attain national welfare, prosperity, education, higher quality of life and well being of their citizens. .
             In recent years the number of regional arrangements have increased however, there are countries who are either behind or have neglected to either form agreements of their own or join existing ones. Today these countries are forced to join for the fear of being left out of the benefits of trade. Although the degree of success in integration has varied between regions, economic integration nonetheless has remained an attractive economic strategy in both the developed and the developing world.
