End Stage Kidney Disease

The disabilities are ,for instance, playing on a sports team. Since people with ESRD are prone to fatigue quickly it disables them from being able to fully participate with a team or even just a game. Disabilities are also things like having to do dialysis at a certain times everyday. This makes it a disability because you are forced to spend your time at a certain time to take care of the dialysis and are not able to spend your time on something you need to get done like a person would be able to do if they did not have ESRD. Yet another disability that one would have with ESRD would be having to regulate what you would eat and drink. I am one person who definitely takes being able to eat and drink whatever I want when I want for granted. It would be terrible not to be able to do eat and drink what you want when you want, but with ESRD you are prone to having diabetic/blood sugar problems. Which means having a strict diet all the time.

The most common cause of ESRD in the US is diabetes. End Stage kidney disease almost always follows chronic kidney failure. Chronic kidney failure is slow and progressive. It most often results from any disease that causes gradual loss of kidney function, which may exist for 10 to 20 years or more before the progression to End Stage kidney disease.
