Juveniles And The Law

What actually leads to juvenile crime? Family, abuse, school, and peer pressure are just a few problems teens face today. Family feuds are big issues with teen families. Family problems affect teens more then anything or any issue. Parents yelling, drinking to excess, hitting, verbally abusing, or divorcing can complicate and ruin a teen for life. Divorce is a big issue in society today, its seems as though everyone is going through it. When parents fight and the child is in the middle and, they hear fights all the time, environments like this are not conductive to a healthy upbringing. Bender and Bruno argue that, "Children from single-parent families he argues, are more likely to have behavior problems because they lack economic security and adequate time with their parents". That argument is completely true because when the parents are divorced, there seems to be one parent who lacks quality time with the child. Aside from divorce, adoption is not as common as most things, but it is a part of life. The parent does not think they are ready for a kid so they give them up for adoption. Resources say that children who are adopted may not .
always grow up in a healthy environment. The adopted child desires to meet his/her birth mother/father this longing from adopted child. This longing from the adopted child is always a factor that foster parents worry about. Growing up in a foster home is another reason why teens grow up to be in dangerous .
situations. They do not get the love and attention they deserve. They feel .
alone and feel that no one in the world cares about them. Often in foster homes abuse occurs. Abuse is also common amongst teens today. Parents get fed up and it seems they think the only thing that will help the situation is by hitting their child. Not knowing that by hitting your children you destroy them inside forever. They do not listen more when you hit them, they may try something different, but never stop being themselves.
