A. but every where. That is what makes their jobs so dangerous.
There are plenty of other examples, much like this one that have caused an uprising by the critics and the media. In Memphis only a couple of summers ago a rap group named the "Three Six Mafia", came under the gun just like Ice T. They were banned from almost every state in the north and the south because of a song they wrote called "Tear the Club Up". They were banned because when they first started to perform the song in concerts, almost every time it resulted in a riot. Mainly because a few people in the crowd got out of control, and in a snowball effect, the concert erupted into a large brawl. Once again the rappers were blamed for the actions of the listeners. The media was quick to jump out and say that the riots were a direct result of the so called "GANGSTA RAP", not the result of the out of control people in the crowd. .
Even the newest shocker on the scene, Eminem, released a song named "Stan". Here a confused fan committed a crime because the artist had talked of similar actions. Stan, a dedicated fan to Eminem writes letters to him throughout the song. Each letter gets progressively worse, as Eminem never answers Stan's letters. Eventually Stan kills himself and his girlfriend in a way that Eminem has rapped about numerous times. Eminem, being busy finally answers the letter, only to find out that a lunatic he read about was indeed Stan. The reaction from Eminem is obvious dismay and surprise, and he questions whether or not he could have prevented the tragedy. While his actions may be influential, he is not responsible for what another individual chooses to do.
One of the most known of all the critics of the rap industry might be C. Delores Tucker. Tucker is known for her crusades against the so-called "GANGSTA RAP", Tucker has gone out and attacked such popular rappers as Snoop Dogg, the late Notorious B.I.G, and many more.
